Everything student success statement  "In life as in football, you won't go far,  unless you know where the goalposts are" This quote means that when a football player is playing the sport and they want to hit a touch down they need to know where they can hit it because if they hit in the wrong spot they can loos or the can give the point to the other team.  I think that this quote is trying to say that you need something that can help you reach that thing that you want top success someday. For example so you could graduate from high school you need that goal because you want to have a high school diploma.
