Duties and responsibilities: Diagnose and treat injuries to bone and muscle under the direction of licensed doctors or other health care professionals. They prevent injury through the use of devices such as tape and braces, recognize and evaluate injuries and provide emergency care.
Salary: $40,869 to $50,371
Education: Bachelor’s degree for athletic trainers, Master’s degree, Certification, Licensing
Demand or need fro this profession: Many people work as a athletic trainer because they would like to help people. They become a athletic trainer to help high school athletes they do this as a sport to help there community.
